Cambium Group Designs Web Site for Vermont Information Technology Leaders

St. Johnsbury, VT - Cambium Group, LLC, a leading web site development firm specializing in innovative web site designs and content management systems announced the launch of new web sites for Vermont Information Technology Leaders.
Vermont Information Technology Leaders (VITL) is completing the Vermont Health Information Technology Plan by working on secure sharing of electronic medical records between doctors, hospitals and patients. Cambium Group worked with VITL to design and develop the new site - www.vitl.net which offers interactive features and many resources for both practitioners and consumers.
Discussion forums for patients, practitioners, and VITL
advisors have been created, as well as an area for discussion
of HIT policy. Visitors can also use the web site’s 'Contact Us' feature to send comments to VITL staff members, sign up for VITL's e-newsletter or email listservs and email the site to a friend. For patients and consumers, the site provides information on how health information exchange can improve care, a glossary of terms and frequently asked questions.
Practitioners can use the site to access a growing list of
resources and documents, including a tip sheet for negotiating
contracts with EHR vendors. A glossary of terms and answers to frequently asked questions add more definition to the site.
Advisors to VITL have their own section of the website, with
agendas for meetings, a list of upcoming events and minutes for the VITL board and committees. The site also provides the latest information on VITL’s projects, press releases, a graphical calendar of events, news, newsletter archive and the ability for VITL to conduct online surveys.
