Community National Bank (CNB) was organized in 1851 and continues to provide a complete line of retail banking services to the communities in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. CNB has experienced tremendous success serving residents in these areas, and was beginning to leverage that success to move into more populated Vermont communities. They turned to the Cambium Group to define and develop a more sophisticated web presence that would be necessary to compete in larger markets.

A Key Objective for the Project 
Evolve the existing web site from a "brochure" site to a dynamic and interactive communication channel which must be integrated with existing channels.

Strategy
Provide Community National Bank with the ability to use its web site to communicate a broad range of dynamic and informative content.

Tactics
Design a web channel architecture that provides timely and informative content on the home page and throughout the site. Integrate a community-oriented web site design with Cambium Group's powerful content management system.

Implementation
The process began with a presentation to CNB of a roadmap describing how its web channel would evolve from a generic brochure-style site, to a dynamic communication channel and finally, to a full-service online branch.

After agreeing on the new site's architecture and general look-and-feel, Cambium got to work integrating the creative vision with Cambium Group's modular content management system software. We then began the process of simultaneously entering content into the system and training CNB personnel on how to use that system, so that upon launching the site, they would be ready to manage their new web site independently.

To date, the site has received rave reviews from customers and CNB employees, setting the stage for CNB to continue moving along the path toward a full-service online branch.  Plans are underway for this final phase of the project.
